The
defunct NC Plot v1.1 FREEWARE
cnc backplotter is replaced by PlanetCNC USB Controller
software.
This software provides excellent gcode simulation as
part
of it's featureset.
Backplot
runs
automatically (F12), by scroll-keys, or by
scroll-bar. View pan, tilt and zoom are available AS the
simulation runs. After a little setup, it
handled 300,000 lines of 5-Axis surfacing code no
problem.

settings are in the cnc4free.org forum 'Updates' thread.
A software license and USB hardware are required to run a CNC machine. Simulation, toolpathing and 'translation' functions, like image to gcode, .DXF to gcode, and many others, are 'unrestricted'. This is confirmed by Andrej, the author of the software. |
