| Switch to a "Front" view using
the "f"
hotkey. Use the "Edit"
menu "Clone"
function to duplicate the newly created line as a "Copy" (see step 003). This
operation should be repeated on the original arc shape to create a
duplicate for use later. With the duplicated line as the active selection, access the "Align" tool on the top toolbar. Left-click the original "Arc01" shape object in the viewport to nominate it as the "Target Object". The pop-up panel shown in the image will present. The "Center" of the "Current Object", should be selected. This will be the reference point for alignment of "Line 02". The "Minimum" position in the X axis of the "Target Object" will be the location that "Line02 will align with. When these options are set up the duplicated line will be seen to move to the specified location in the viewport. Press "OK" to confirm the align operation and close the pop-up. |
