This resource was established, in December 2007, to promote FREE or low-cost means to complete CNC tasks for the small business user and the serious hobbyist.   There are many FREE resouces that have been available for quite some time.

Previously there has been no means to identify the most useful, reliable and functional  FREE CNC utilities. This website aims to meet this need on a regularly updated basis.  It also aims to produce and distribute educational resources, to enable FREE methods to be employed to maximum effect.  If you have an interest in minimum cost solutions to real CNC tasks, this is the website for you.

cnc4free.org aims to PREVENT CNC users spending money unnecessarily.  This does not lend itself well to industry sponsorship.  The site is funded by user sponsorship and donations. Sponsors gain unrestricted access to cnc4free.org download content. Further information is available by clicking large 'Sponsors only' previews in the 'Downloads' 3D area.
